Rope and cable connection sleeves for quick creation of a force-fit connection between two cables or ropes. They are used where existing cables or ropes are to be replaced by new ones, e.g. replacement of obsolete underground cables, insertion of new ropes into cranes. Hand braided from galvanized steel wire strands, average effective braid length 1200 mm, cable diameter 8-16 mm, practical breaking load 15kN, max. laying tensile force 7, 5 kN.
